Hi, mates.
I want to hear your opinions about the convolution verbs for pc.
Is it worth buyng Waves IR1 V2?
Are there better alternatives.
At this moment i can't afford it, but may be soon I'll can.
Many Thanks in advance!

Wizooverb. THE best by far, bar none (well...equal with my UAD-1 Plate 140, but more versatile to me) imho of course.

The impulses that come with the wizooverb demo are quite nice indeed but the native based reverb in it is quite horrible, imho of course.
I have to take this little space and advertise RaySpace again. It can produce some really nice small spaces and weird blurry diffusion fields and it's modulating constantly which makes it more 'alive' than a static impulse. It's rather grainy and cpu intensive though so it might not suit percussive or otherwise transient heavy sounds but for synths, vocals, guitars and everything in between it might be just the ticket.
Cheers!

ps. I'm not in any way affiliated with the development of RaySpace but as usual, I like advertising things I'm impressed by! Can't help it!

Thank you, guys!
I'll see the demos of the RaySpace and Convo Boy. A tried the Wizoo and it was ok, but... i found it not enough realistic... of course this may be a mistake. I'll try again
other opinions??

What's a good one for live playing? I could give a crap about something that has to "render".

The 'greendoor' verb is the holy grail of native VST verbs. The native verb that can keep the hardware units in the closet on a dark and stormy night.
It's the one that answers the question: "Yeah, it sounds pretty good, but is it up to the AA greendoor standard?"
