hey spacedad, i did some more work on the GUI, but it is still pretty ugly.

also made a few minor tweaks. I want to make it respond to note off events, and a small bug causing it to drift out of sync needs to be fixed.

I took the plug down yesterday.. lol. it's been up for ages. doesn't seem to be any point in making buggy plugs available.

did anyone actually get this working?

Ok vexkon, uploading it now. http://fa-audio.presetbank.net/vst/ can't find the brief docs i wrote for it though. just load it up and play a drum loop into it. the first 8 keys of any octave control the play position. a couple of the other keys do something as well, but can't remember what. its been a while since i\ve played with this.

Hey spacedad, to be honest, if it didn't work before, it probably won't work now. ('lol' is just me laughing to myself because i took the site down only the day before, and suddenly people were looking for the link.)

nope.it crashed XT,FL,VSThost,savihost,PQNvstseq,didn't show up in minihost.win98se,winXP.i could try more but i'm sick of rebooting.

oh well,i tried.what the hell do you use?

well thanks for testing it out in so many hosts! At least we know it really doesn't work. i use energyXT and don't have any problems. I've also tried it in the latest demo of audiomulch. again no problem. (audiomulch doesn't send midi note data to vst plugs, does it?) I'm running winXP.

I've been going though the code over the last couple of days, just cleaning it up and making it more efficient. I'll download some more free hosts to test it in. Once everything is running smoothly here, if you want, we can do some more trouble shooting to get it running on your system. It will probably just involve testing several versions, each with different sections of code cut out, to find where the problem is.

Ok so I've made a few changes and tested it succesfully in Audiomulch, Buzz (Polac's vst loader), energyXT and MiniHost.

If you've some spare time, I've uploaded a couple of different versions for you to test out spacedad. I'll pm you the link.
