And like I mentioned earlier, there is no demo. Chris from Audio Damage mentioned here once that for such a cheap plugin, it was easier not to have a demo than get carried away with copy protection, or something to that effect. They're nice guys, maybe email them and see if you can work something out.

At least as far back as the GNX1 (so also GNX2,GNX3,GNX4,etc...) has "intelligent pitch shift".dimitar wrote: What model has this thing? - intelligent harmonizing
No pitch shift!
Mix in some of the original signal (ie,not 100% wet) and that is intelligent harmonizing,no?

Perhaps making one or two copies of the track(s) and applying fx to each track would work better then mixing between dry and wet....Aural Chaos wrote:At least as far back as the GNX1 (so also GNX2,GNX3,GNX4,etc...) has "intelligent pitch shift".dimitar wrote: What model has this thing? - intelligent harmonizing

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

HUH? I thought we were talking about for realtime use.Hink wrote:Perhaps making one or two copies of the track(s) and applying fx to each track would work better then mixing between dry and wet....Aural Chaos wrote:At least as far back as the GNX1 (so also GNX2,GNX3,GNX4,etc...) has "intelligent pitch shift".dimitar wrote: What model has this thing? - intelligent harmonizing

I think there are two related concepts going on in this thread - Intelligent Pitch Shift Hardware (not actually part of the original question) and what is now available in software.
on the H/W side I own both the GNX2 and GT-6 - I prefer the GT-6 for intelligent pitch shifting but the GNX2 edges it out for sound.
I also have a TC Electronic G-Force -- Now that's a pitch shifter! - but it has become a dedcated part of my live rig so I don't usually record with it ...
peace,
pj

Sorry Paul, that was why I asked that particular question. I was hoping that was a demo limitation and that the full version would be useable real time for guitar playing.Space Boy wrote:The original post said nothing about using it real time.Midiworks wrote:I think 10-13ms latency for guitar is fine,
but 80ms is unplayable.

I do not know if it is the best, but the FX version of Slayer 2 has a harmonizer in addition to about 10 other effects and amp sim.
