Hey - while I got you here, IainF: is there any reason that all of your plug-ins, once inserted on a stereo track, would lower the left channel about 25%?

(In Cubase SX 2.2)

Congrats from me also. You just now need to get the URLs updated at KVR (they still refer to Lycos at the time I'm replying).

Hi, Links have been updated on my KVR pages. Still a few tidy-ups needed on my site but all should be working.

Thanks for your support.

bduffy:
Not sure why the left channel is lower. The G-amp plugs are all mono-in. Lite and classic are mono out. Perhaps that has something to do with it? I know the the cubase 'philosophy' is to make things surround-sound ready. I don't think they like mono much!

Mono-in and out? Well that would explain it if I'm using a stereo track! I don't think it's got anything to do with Cubase's stereo handling. The plugs work fine in mono, well done!

Thanks.

why would we like a guitar stereo trhough a amp? in real it is mono. but after the amp, you might pan it, or ad stereo effects like a reverb but amping mono, (less CPU)

I'm thinking of what is there in the plugin Trash, where the boxmodels emulate two microphones which you can be thrown around as you like, creating different definition of room for the guitar, and where it is in the mix.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to use a live stereo input or anything. Just checking to see if you could use it as a stereo saturation insert.
