Well, Jesus Christ, I don't know. I'm trying to find something now 'cos I'm curious. I've done this kind of thing before, but like shamann said, offline with Sound Forge/Nuendo.rpc9943 wrote:exactly where the hell can i find this? i want to be able to slowly change the pitch at a user selected amt of min/max with my pitch wheel

That's what I'm thinking. Unfortunately, you can't look up "Vibrato" in the plug-in database.

Check out this thread:

The only plug-in that sounded good was "Vibrator". The only thing it lacked was a way to control the attack of the vibrato so it would fade in. The Soundbusrt FX4U collection looks interesting - I've never heard of them before - but they crippled the Vibrato section of their demo plugin, bastards!
I found that thread by searching for "vibrato vst effect" on Google; there were lots of promising leads if you want to check it out.

You wouldn't want to use a vibrato effect because you want to control the bend yourself. Vibrato effects generally only allow for an oscillator to control the vibrato.
Try e-phonic's Retrodelay. Feed the sound in, set it all wet, on manual time, set to 3, 0 feedback, 1 Pass on, and try bending the mod wheel. Once you have the concept down, test out some delays and see which one produces the right sound for you.

I've used Tobybear's Shiva Shifter for this. You can control the depth of the pitchshift and control the pitchshift with CC to get that slight detune tremolo/whammy effect. It doesn't sound as clean as a real Whammy pedal, but who cares about clean, right?
