Hi Folks
EDIT NOV 28th >>>>NOW RELEASED AND AVAILABLE

Note:
This is also in the instruments forum here:

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1346053

As some of you may know we have been hinting around a bit about our new upcoming VSTi.
Well here is a Special KvR sneak peak at:

ManyGuitar

ManyGuitar is a Bass and Guitar Sample Synthesizer with an included Library of approximately 1 Gig of 24 Bit Guitar and Bass Samples.

It will be available in October 2005 for $89.99
ManyStation Owners will be able to get it at an incredible crossgrade discount price. Only $49.99 for you guys for a Limited time period.

ManyGuitar was built with Dash Signature and uses the Dash Eve One Engine with a Custom designed and built Amplifier and Speaker Cabinet emulator built exclusively for Manytone.
This takes the already incredible Manytone Guitars to new levels. The amp section also has a deep amp mode that is perfectly suited to our Bass and other Low toned Guitars.

The included Sound Library includes all of the current ManyStation Guitar and Bass samplesets (Hence the discount for our existing users) as well as over 300 - 400 meg of new material, that includes an extensively sampled Telecaster including a few chord sets, and also some great new lead guitar styles and more.

Watch Out!!

Here she is:

She is almost ready.... This is a special peak for KvR.
Yes ... GUI by Amoebe again! We love him so much here!!

Official Press releases will go out soon, as well as some MP3 demos.

Loverly?

EDIT:
I forgot to say....
This will load all WusikSnd Samplesets as well as Dash Samplesets and you can create your own Samplesets to load as well!!! It's full Blown!!

That's right you can run your Fitch cello and all other sets from ManyStation through the amp and FX etc ... it sounds UNREAL!!

EDIT: October 3rd

MP3s ... Okay ...here are the first 3 i have ready ... Just some quick demos of some of the new sets.
Yep the new sets :-) and you can hear the amp in action in these also.

More MP3s will follow soon.

EDIT: OCTOBER 08

Okay ... another MP3

http://www.manytone.com/music/ManyGuitar_FunkyTone.mp3

This is from gregjazz (The Creator of our UBK, which is the first addon for ManyGuitar) and shows his NEW Guitar and Bass sets that are included in ManyGuitar. The neat thing is that the chorded guitar and the lead guitar that you hear are the same SampleSet with different amp settings through the ManyGuitar interface. The Bass is also one of the new ManyGuitar sets from Greg ... all unreleased material ....(for 2 more weeks anyway Smile )
Sounding pretty sweet Greg. I love the Squeals and the pitchbends!
Again none of UBK is included with ManyGuitar ... UBK is a completely different set of samples.

HI

I would love to hear a more extensive collection of incidental noises, slides, string rubs, coughing guitarist - any possibility?

They really add to the realism of a keyboard played guitar solo!

Flipper.

Post

Yes Flipper
There is some more noises all ready to go, other than the included ones that you have in ManyStation, and I will make a point to try to get a few more in too!

Thank for the comments

just a question Paul: Why the new VSTI altogether? Wouldn't have it been better to use your existing platform and make an amp section using the new FX SDK, keeping the cost low at the same time? I mean, looking at this at first glance, it seems fairly limited in capability compared to the Manystation, apart from the amp section. I hope this comes out right, I don't want to denigrate or anything, but I'm very curious.

Plenty of reasons for this I can assure you.
Manytone wanted a product geared to real Guitars and Bass...
People see ManyStation as a Synth it seems more than what we specialize in which is Guitars and Basses at this time.

There are Thousands of folks who wouldn't glance at ManyStation but may feel an extreme need for a product like this.

At the time we started this project ("Many" Months ago!) and still to this time ....there is no Good amp sim speaker section in Wusik .... Even if there was or will be in the future???? That was not what we want here.... we want to give you the Musician more tools in as "Many" ways we can. Now!

And Finally .... Why the Hell not :-) .... We could have sold the New sampleset included with this in a ManyStation addon only and still it would have been a Product priced in this price Range anyways... Instead we throw in a whole new twist with a VSTi to mess with the ManyTone Samples for not much more than a song :-)
Seriously !!!!

Paul
1000 more reasons too :-) Mainly cause ...I LOVE THIS!!!!

I actually like the focus to tell you the truth.

I'm a massive supporter of the WEngine because I think it's simply marvy.

However, having a narrower and more specialised interface/engine for guitars/bass sounds like a great idea. And having a really great crossgrade price from ManyStation? Excellent!

I hope the engine extends a little in future versions to have even more trickery for guitars built into it in the area of performance as well as just effects.

The guitar journey commences....

This describes me. The ManyStation is obviously popular with the users--I'd like to have it myself. But at this point, I need to stay focused on the software I do have now. All I'm missing is a good guitar, so, this new product sounds like my kinda deal at a price I can afford. Pre-orders?

Hi Max
The new amp and FX parts were coded by Aldo Trianti of A0Audio. He also works with Luigi and Dash Signature.

I am pretty pleased with the sound so far!

Other Questions......

A Mac version is planned for the future. I can't say for sure yet ..... but it looks like it just may happen.

ToTc ....Yes of course ...I will get you to do a few presets for this :-) It has a Soundwizard and FXwizard too that we will need some settings done for.

Caleb ... Thanks for the comments!! I can see you drooling already :-)

SaviourNeeded - We may have a short run intro price of $79.99. We'll see. Not sure about a preorder yet either.
