Anyone have or use these libraries? Are they usable for 'fat' electronic drums a la Crystal Method, or strictly hip hop and R&B? The new package deal has them both together for under $300, and that's a LOT of drum material, so I'm interested..

i have the feeling that e-lab is out of business, since they haven't answerd on my several requests over the last couple of months. also: their inhouse forum is absolutely dead. very sad.zircon wrote:Anyone have or use these libraries? so, if you ant to invest in a dead-end street, buy those tools (because they sound very good), but don't expect any support if you upgrade to a higher system version one day.

To be fair, they are soundware products more than anything. You shouldnt need much support or updates. If you like the sounds, then buy them, cuz 'if' they are going bust then it might be your last chance.
I say 'if', because iv heard nothing to suggest this. If their site is still up and running, then they're still in business as far as Im concerned.

E lab have created some great drum cd,s over the years so i,m certain the samples themselves will be very usable.
The above "words" are the ramblings of a depraved megalomaniac.Any similarity to normal communication is a hallucination on the part of the reader.Replying to this post will result in your family and posessions becoming the property of funkynuts.

Agreed. There samples as usually decent. Not the best by any means, but very useable. Didnt they provide the Reason Redrum sound set? Iv not heard either of these products, but I'd imagine more of the same. Layered vinyl / electronic hits, should be fine for breaks or hip hop stuff.
Cant guarentee it will make you sound like Crystal Method though!

Big Fish Audio is blowing them out at $99 each--end of the line or version 2 on the way?
