Keep an eye on the noise packs, as they come out there will be bits of mechanical noise for sure - the first pack has a few cool sounds in that might be of use - this is something I find fun n super easy to record and create - lots of stuff comming :D

you could, im just not doing free stuff anymore, been doing it too long for virtually zero feedback, and very little enthusiasm for my commercial stuff.

My comment was meant for the origianl poster tho

There are samples recorded at a cylinder recycling company titled "Propane" and "Propane 2". You can download them from: http://www.hornet.org/music/samples/ (http://www.hornet.org/music/samples/)
We only hit and run.

well...for one, i enthusiastically endorse your samples found in the various music magazines (CM and FM)! i've thought for a long time, as well, that it was time you came up with a major rompler (or something). a robotic sound set is a great idea. would love to use them in my noize project: loop_gravity. you can hear some of your samples at work in my sparse output under: vacuumFlux, asanisimasa, and loop_gravity at acidPlanet and soundclick.com. keep up the good work.

aaa
overthrow KRAPITALISM ! you have nothing to lose but your claims.

I've made a demo tune using all your free sound sets, if it's not feedback I wonder what it is?!

I have tons of that stuff. I went to the docks in Liverpool with my little field rig and got all kinds of mental industrial / mechanical stuff. I also have loads of stuff done at home and in the garage. Unfortunately the files are all massive, and Im on dial up (which begs the question, why did I even mention it :hihi: ).

Point is, you should go out and record some of this stuff for yourself. Its so much fun! I love it. I spend all summer out of the road recording wacky stuff, and then spend the winter processing it into weird ambiences and noises. Thats what its about, and its hugely gratifying.

My advice, get yourself a Minidisc or a Nomad and hit the road. Or just get loads of tools and stuff from your house and set them up with a mic. I got some of my best sounds recording the dish washer!
