hello all you devs and programmers!

electronisounds.com is currently looking for a programmer to code and skin a simple stand alone pc-based wav loop sequencing program. This would need to be a very simple and easy-to-understand application for newbies and basic loopers to put our samples together with and make into basic SONG arrangements.

any developers looking for work?

not quite sure what that means, could you elaborate? it would be a program that we would want to SELL alongside our sample CD's, so the code would have to have zero limitations about being used for COMMERCIAL software. i hope that made any sense?

if an application is open source than the source code is released for free online. i use the juce library which is licensed under the GNU Public License which means that anything made with it has to be open source.

well commercial licenses are available but they are a bit pricy. How much are you thinking about paying?

the commercial licenses are within our budget. do you have any examples of your work using these coding tools?

nothing huge, but i did do the sample mapper for wusikstation. could you go into more detail about the project? would the loops need to be timestretched?

possibly in a future version, but needed right now. here is a list of the basic requirements that we're looking for right now:

8 x wav sample loaders (with an individual high/low eq and ASDR envelope on EACH load slot)

AND

a "playlist" screen where the user can "arrange" the 8 tracks of loops into a song. we would prefer a VERY simple interface where the user would simply have to place a dot in the measure, and the correspoding sample slot would play on the DOWNBEAT of that measure.

AND

possibly a few built-in FX that the user can swith on or off on EACH of the 8 wav sample slots (reverb, stereo delay, etc)

we would definately be interested in expanding/updating the program in the future, but we want to start off with something very simple that "non-music makers" can use to put our samples together.

any developers please feel free to PM me directly with pricing quotes on such a project.

whoops - forgot to mention in the FEATURES list that it would need VOLUME and PAN on each slot as well -
