I notice that most vowel filters are very male sounding. Are there any that are based on female algorithms?

I think that's because there aren't many collections of female vowel sounds statistics, most are of men.
you can see how different the formant frequencies for women, men AND children are here

and with three bandpass filters you could probably create all the sound
hope that helps, although it's not a female formant filter.

oooh. that sounds like a handy preset. must urgently remember to make one. especially helpful when pms sets in!kritikon wrote:Sometimes it'd be nice to filter out both the female vowel sounds AND the consonants inbetween. 'Specially when I'm in trouble.
