Hi everybody,

Some will probably know me as the author of the Dausenkunz Early Patches collection.
Today I am happy to announce the release of our latest product: The Soundbytes Carillon.

http://www.soundbytes.de/carillon/en

A digital Carillon for the electronic music studio

The Soundbytes Carillon delivers an authentic and most realistic rendition of the Carillon instrument in the wooden church of Hahnenklee.
Twentyfour tuned church bells are covering a musical range of two octaves.

The instruments expressive scope is brought out undiminished through the 136 distinct stereo samples. The detailed multisample employs
up to six velocity splits per semitone.

In the peaceful surrounding of the remote location we were able to capture in full length the undisturbed decay of the bells that ring for up to thirty seconds. The sample size of the complete set is 226 MB.

The Soundbytes Carillon supports the following Sampler file formats
right out of the box:
NI Kontakt, Steinberg Halion, Apple Logic EXS24, Tascam Giga Studio, E-mu EmulatorX/ProteusX, Speedsoft Virtual Sampler, Project5 Dimension/sfz.

Nice to see you producing some more stuff.

You're also putting out a second Early Patches style offering in October I see. Very nice.

Not sure if I need a carillon patch at this point, but I'll at least download the freebie (can never get enough of those).

Thanks for this.
