I created a Temporary audio folder then tried rendering a Seq MIDI part to a file.
==> The part was not rendered - and the Temporary audio folder was not selected for the render.
Rendering to a new track did work, and the wav file was placed in the Temporary audio folder.
BR: Render to File does not use the Temporary Audio Folder

to add here:
a) the temporary folder is not stored at all (also there seems to be some mess-up with the skin folder when setting the temp folder)
b) rendering doesn't recognize the sample folder anymore (i.e. asks for temporary folder when trying to render even that a sample folder is already specified, e.g. when rendering to new track) - which has probably to do with a) , i.e. eXT assuming that a temp folder is _always_ set which it is not .
