Hi there,
hope you can help me.
I´m searching for raw single-cycle waveforms of ANY synth, also raw waves from korg m1, yamaha sy ....

In case you're planing to stick them into a softsampler you won't have much luck with them unless they're sampled in a bunch of intervals.

This is a link to all the waves taken directly from Ensoniq SQ80 waverom.
A pitty so few people know the SQ80.
One of the most if not THE most warm sounding digital synth ever build !
If this just was vsti´ed by someone who really knows how to do it i would be a happy man.

This german guy(Rainer Buchty) has done a UNPAYABLE job to reverse engineer and document everything about the SQ80 synth after Ensoniq dropped the service/maintenance years ago.

Isn`t there some software, that can cut out one cycle from any sample, at C3, or C2, so you do not have to do this manually.

Ohh yes.... dont laugh dude

Ensoniq SQ80 has analog filters, the same as in prophet VS and it can indeed sound very warm, if you want it to.

) Perhaps these waves could at least be put in a soundfont, never tried before.

I know, but I use them in reaktor with audiotables an interpolate, sounds ok.

Yes it is warm. I have the ESQ-1, the predessesor to the SQ-80, and it is nice and warm. Believe it or not, lower bit rate digital waves do have a warmth that the pristine waves we know today don't have. But it's the real analog filter than makes those Ensoniqs so warm. My ESQ-1 can do a Minimoog bass probably as good as any software emulation I have heard.

I have all the raw WAV forms of the Yamaha SY85 which I sampled off my keybaord, would the be of any use? They're not looped or edited though...

Are those SY85 waveforms multimapped?
I was thinking about sampling mine as well, but couldn't be bothered yet.

Yes, they would be of use!!! If any of u want some other waves, ask me. i could give u the complete wavestationEX samplerom, they are just 22k, but sound ok.
