is there no keyboard mapping in fl studio?

Not that I know of, and that applies to all known sequencers AFAIK. Reverb level is set in the mixer for each VSTi, not at the individial MIDI note level.

It might be possible to achieve this using automation, but only if there are no overlapping notes with different reverb levels.

If the number of levels is small you might create a separate channel for each level and split notes across these channels -- but that means duplicating the VSTi the corresponding number of times.
When I was younger I used to be in doubt. These days I'm not so sure.

I think he expects FL to be a sampler, he might want to try something like vsampler. You can apply fx to notes or even parts of notes...

ok, i'll give vsampler a whirl

thanks

FL 6.0 will come with a full featured sampler.... i think the name of the developer is arguru or something like that.

You could work around this with layers: figure out how many different reverb levels you want, say 6:
Open 6 instances of the same vsti. Route each vsti to a different fx channel. Create a layer. Map the note ranges you want onto the layer (or keyboard) for each generator/reverb combo, and when playing, only play the layer.
maybe?

going with ourboros' thought...set up your 6 reverbs but use only ONE instance of the VSTi. automate the FX channel it gets sent to (top right corner of the channel settings window) to alternate between your mixer channels with the different reverbs.

Slick! Never even knew you could automate the fx channel. :o

I just checked and you can automate the channel assigns in the channel setting window...but talk about a lot of work...you would have to want it bad, the peak controller might be a quicker way, or the keyboard contoller perhaps...;)

Isnt it possible to do an automation-clip for reverb on/off? Must admit I'm still a noob on automation...

you can also link it to a controller. i've had mad fun setting up a few very different FX chains, then setting up a noise LFO on the peak controller to randomly switch channels.
