There seems to be a weird bug in the current algorithm which makes 95% of the rooms have louder reverb return from the RIGHT speaker. I'm really confused by this thing and I'm fairly sure it wasn't present in the old version. Also, is Block size = 2m the same as the old x2 button? If I remeber correctly the old x2 button sounded a lot different, like a looped section of the impulse. I dearly miss it as it was nice for special rooms and weird synth halls.
Cheers!

Thanks, what host are you using? Does that host show the right speaker louder on its meters? Not getting it here. Yes, block size 2m is the same as the 2x button. I'll do some more comparison tests, and get back to you if I find anything.

I've tried the demo in FL Studio 5 and Energy XT. Both show the same problem and yes, the output meter shows a slight bias towards the right speaker. I noticed however that the reverb is slowly modulating it's "stereo" image so it does 'travel' to the left after a while and then back but it always seems to start to the right.

Hi bManic, thanks for the info, there was a diffence in the algorithm and hopefully it's been fixed now.
A new verions (1.6) is up on http://www.quikquak.com
- Updated interface, new diffusion dial, stereo bug fixed, random crash on ray count dial fixed.

The first quicktime demo sounds like an American news anchorman who is literally and figuratively going round the bend thinking he's Jesus.
Sorry but after recently converting to atheism after a lifetime of devout religious indifference, I find this kind of thing is the antithesis of commercially inspiring.
Why didn't the author try Peter Cook and Dudley Moore walking off while spouting scatological philosophy? You would've had my thirty quid in an instant.

New version! RaySpace 1.7
O.K. bmanic, that channel sweep bug has really gone now! Also there's a quad panner with accurate metering for complete output control. Output pins 3 & 4 can now work in surround for the likes of Bidule and AudioMulch.
Cheers,
Dave
