That's never been my experience with eSoundz.....ever!CANE CREEK wrote: as in buisness you've payed for yours so they'll be in no rush sending it "the moneys in the bank" , thats why i got mine before you going through a destributor.
I've never purchased from IK directly so I don't know what they're like.
I got mine a while ago and it was dispatched on 19/8 as well. I'm in Australia so I actually expected to get it afterwards, but maybe shipping to Australia from the US is quicker than I thought.

It arrived, but had to pay VAT + customs declarations cost.... 65 euro!
On the bright side.. it's here!
And I do like the poster, was looking for an overview like this for some time!
Oke, working is over for today, start installing....

HI,
I'm in the UK, got mine last week, no problem with customs or having to pay anything else (I've ordered numerous things from Esoundz with no problem in the past). I have not installed yet & am glad having just read about the dongle tale - bad luck. Will probably install this weekend.
All the best Don

A Tip to anybody owning cubase sx and installing microslav philharmonik and want to run them both on 1 dongle...
Install microslav philharmonik (but don't open it) , then attach the 2 dongles start up the syncrosoft license control centre and transfer the licenses to 1 dongle.
Then open cubase and microslav philharmonik and register it.
If you don't swap the licenses over first you end up having to register it twice because each dongle has its own ID which changes the authorization code.

With the groupbuy of SS1, the price on the box was $1 or something like that, so no problem that time.
BTW: Played a bit around and it sounds d@mn good!

It's just random - I got caught for customs duty this time (£35) but have got away with it in the past.don1thedon wrote:HI,

I got carded this morning - bloody £35 customs charge
I've definitely noticed an increase in the number of imports that get charged - I think the recent merging of Inland Revenue with C&E in the UK has sharpened their act up....
