that wasnt my intention tho pd,i did need some info.
to be honest ive never tried it before so cant comment one way or the other,its just my course starts tomorrow and i wanted at least an idea of where things where if you get me,no point goin in blind if i dont have to.

and if you think an "anti thread" is only gonna hit 10 pages then youve missed the new improved kvr

tis my induction in the mornin,so i doubt ill be doing anything yet

but im on the course

and yeah it is kind of exciting,but also very nerve wracking for me

as you know(or probably do)i havent spent much time in other peoples company recently,but im hoping the fact that in this case everyone should have similarish interests i should be ok

once i get the initial few days and am focused on projects i reckon it should be plain sailing

hard work yeah but you know what i mean

well have to ask ben for a mature student forum

Im just worried they wont believe Im as old as I am and kick me out...

But wait a minute? How do you use your VSTis in PT? PT is OK for audio I understand but Aren't you limiting yourself if midi is your thing?

Vurt,

Let me give you some advice - make sure you use the facilities while you have the chance.

When I was at uni I never sampled any of the synths, and now Im totally gutted. I couple have recorded gigs of live drum performance, but never did. I now live in a dark world filled with regret and remorse! I think about the stuff I could do with all that gear at my disposal, and cry like a baby.

Also, good luck with PT. I actually think its a cool system. And the plugins sound so much better (ok, ok, thats my trolling over for today

)

the course is using protools gordon,i will not be switching.

hehe i was sat there the other day lookin at all the equipment and thinking ooh samples
