anyone yet got freeze working with a tracker?
are there trackers that support freeze?
any tracker-like programs that have or are going to have freeze?
and then the obligatory .. on threads about trackers there's always someone asking "what is a tracker" .. here's for you: http://www.united-trackers.org/modules. ... tent&tid=1

anybody got any good experiences on fx freeze and a tracker?
i was thinking on this combo: renoise which has an fx-freezable energyxt (in instrument mode) to wrap the instruments and effects (simpler freezing)
would the automation be usable etc?

I know Argu plans to add bounced (frozen) audio tracks to Aodix 4 in the future. It is probably quite a ways down the road, though. But it may still be the first one to implement a freeze feature.
TIME IS WHAT KEEPS EVERYTHING FROM HAPPENING ALL AT ONCE.

if adoix got freeze i think it would increase its popularity by a fair amount ..
but when i tested adoix i didn't like it that much .. don't remember why, and i think it's just a matter of getting used to it anyway .. if it got freeze, i'd definitely give it another go ..

there are numerous ways of realising this within buzz. recording a sample to the wavebank, bouncing tracks to hd using ld mixer or lately kazuya's freeze machine.

I have been trying recently to get Fx-freeze and renoise to work together but from what I can gather from fx-max is that this is a renoise bug.
i have however found a method of getting fx-freeze to work in renoise via eXT:
- Load XT VSTi in renoise
- Load a sequencer [sync external, no count in]
- Load frozen XT [energyXT (z)] into midi track in sequencer and load your VSTi`s into this.
- Track in renoise
- Press flake on [energyXT (z)]
- Press play in renoise to complete process.
I have found a graphics bug which occurs but have posted here in XT forum:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=101755
I have also posted this bug report (as Ledger) on renoise forum:
http://www.renoise.com/board/index.php? ... 5e28814d0c
I have also e-mailed taktik on this issue. I still have my fingers crossed on a fix for this as like you say a direct freeze wrapped XT in renoise would be great!

With this method you need to get the MIDI data out of the tracker and into XT. This is possible via direct recording of MIDI but I have found this to be buggy, requiring a number of passes to get the midi recorded right (even then sometimes note-offs won`t be right). I will post about this on the XT forum though.LBN wrote:What about loading energyXT as a VSTi, loading your instrument in eXT and then using eXT's freeze function?
