Karen Roberts is a State Police Officer and she just called to let us know that New Orleans is in Chaos.


The State Troopers are being sent in to bring order back to the chaos. She is on her way to New Orleans and needs our help in the form of PEACE.


Therefore, she has asked that we begin a prayer chain for PEACE.
And surround New Orleans with Peace and Harmony and Faith, so that the people will remember who they are and love one another.

I definitely don't want to prescribe out of my own autobiography, but I have no evidence that wishing or goodwill has any meaning at all apart from concrete actions. But I do appreciate your concerns, so please don't take this as a criticism of you personally or the person who wrote the "call to warm fuzzies" .

Wouldn't it be better to just write a check? As a follower of Christ, my own path teaches that goodwill without action is useless. YMMV.
