Hey, and if all else fails there are hours of fun bundled up in the Control24. I could play about with those faders, and the scrub wheel for days.

Especially after when Im, lets say, leaf licked

Yep, I guess I did learn something afterall. Who knew?!

Ah, the Control 24. If I had to choose a control surface, that's one of my first picks.

PT is truly powerful for audio. And for MIDI, it's not as bad as most point it out to be. Some of it is under the hood. I can say that after taking the official Digidesign course, I found SO MUCH more than I could imagine was there, both audio and MIDI.

I'll second the idea of getting all you can out of that equipment. Sample, sample, sample. And if you need a demo, do it while you're there. I know I will never own my own SSL console, or have access to so many mics, so I have taken advantage of it all.

Good luck Vurt. I know you'll learn so much. At least I did.
