And also Allen Toussaint of the Meters, last seen in the Superdome. This is truly awful.

There's no phones and power in most of that area. I wouldn't be surprised if he is found. Hope and pray that he found "Blueberry Hill" to get away from the floods.HanafiH wrote:http://www.guardian.co.uk/katrina/story ... 84,00.html
Fats Domino is missing after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, according to his agent, Al Embry.
Embry told Associated Press that he hadn't been able to contact Domino since talking to him on Sunday evening by telephone.
The 77-year-old R&B legend, whose real name is Antoine Domino, told Embry that he planned to stay at his New Orleans house with his wife, Rosemary, and their daughter.
Domino has sold more than 110 million records in his long career, including the legendary singles Blueberry Hill and Ain't That a Shame. His 1950 recording of The Fat Man is sometimes referred to as the first real rock 'n' roll record. He was among the first honorees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
I have two close friends down there and haven't heard from them in days.
Did you also hear that helicopters, police, FEMA workers and the National Guard are getting shot at? How backwards is that?
I'm going to Chicago this weekend and volunteering at Second Harvest. I'm just answering phones and taking donations. I don't have anything else I can offer.
Positive thoughts help!
