Warning for those using eMule (or any other edonkey network client) to get it:

the file ("rebirth_pc_installation.zip") should have hash 3DC715DE48649B11B0C5B6C93279F755. There are other files out there, like "rebirth_pc_installation_fixed.iso", that are not coming from me, and are obviously somehow altered. The one I put up for download is the original I downloaded from rebirthmuseum.com.

...cool down? I wasn't upset, I was excited... kind of like this.

I'm really happy that the 'Props did this and now I just need to buy some blank CD's (forgot to take those with me when I moved, doh!) to get this baby runnin' on my machines.

Has anyone found a download manager that will download this thing yet? All the ones I have tried wont do it because its a php redirect not an actual link to the downloadable file. And my DSL connection will only pick up speeds of 7-8kbps from them for some reason. And to make things worse it keeps dropping and IE doesnt have a resume feature

Yeah, I've tried multiple times too. As Beardedone says, though, their servers are probably being hit pretty hard right now. Wait until about 03:00 AM US-EST and try. No, wait - don't try then...

the propellerhead servers have never been very powerful.. just a warning - you may want to wait a week instead of going through all this mania..

that's stupid, they should have put all the files seperatly to download so if you just want rebirth then you just download an installer.

SampleScience - you see - Rebirth's copy protection is a 131mb data file on the cd.. they would have had to do a rewrite of the program to get around it..

Can you not copy this to your hard drive instead of having to mount the whole CD image (or keep it in the drive bay)?

They would have to re-write the program to put it in a simple installer? Then please Propellerheads don't make me waste my time. I've registered into your site for nothing, I don't even know how to burn an .iso. Sorry but too complicated for waht it is...
