The Waldorf is great Vurt, I used one for a good while. The filters are to die for. This synth was (and probably still is) my synth pad machine of choice.

Btw, what college / award are you attending?

fack off,i aint mike skinner or run dmc,no adidas here matey :P
but strangely i did look similar to that pic today at my first go at PT.
i have to be honest,i kinda like it,its quite straight forward and a lot simpler to use than i had expected.havent done any major work yet so it may get trickier but seems ok so far.
doubt ill be flip floppin tho, unless someone wants to buy me a g5 and protools :D
but that f**king mouse :x what a ballache!
:ud:

8) Enjoy it John! Even though it is Mac stuff!

the mac,hmm while im still not 100% sold on the 1 button bollocks i have to admit to being mightily impressed with the g5s.in the room were in theres 16 of them, even when they are all switched on the noise is minimal :o 8)

Nah, for audio, it tends to stay that simple. Using effects etc, and virtual instruments in particular is a bit clunky to set up, IMO, but thats about as hard as it gets.

well it was the virtual instruments we were playing with, atmosphere, stylus and mach5 on all machines too, plus reason.yeah its not as simple as im used to,ie pick instruments and host just routes everything.but i can cope with the opening of an aux for instruemnts, didnt use any fx yet tho,so im not sure if i just output the aux to them or need to open a new one for each effect, that would be shitty :o
but all in all not as scary as i was expecting hehe
:ud:

You can use fx as inserts, but you only get five per track, AFAIR. Any more than that you gotta use buses.
But really, all in all, PT is one of the easiest hosts I ever used.

Funnily enough I tend to use more than that ;)
