I did a symphony in one movement and put a link to it on all our 3 Pups Music web pages with a pitch for people to take charitable action or donate to the charities of their choice for American relief from Hurricane Katrina. There's also a post in the music cafe with a link. The post is called "Orchestral". It's called "Katrina, The Death Of Jazz And Blues". If my partner agrees, which I think he will, and you have a charitable purpose, you're welcome to take any excerpt you might want or I'll free license any other composition you want. Tell me what to do.

I have all sorts of songss that I can donate, but they aren't really germane to the issue.

However, if anyone can find use for an indie rock song or two (or some oddball chamber music), I would be happy to contribute.

i want to be in
but i'm not going to be able to start something before the end of this month.

hope it won't be too late. i guess we're not in a rush to act with such a project. we know that the recovery time will be long, and the need of money isn't going to fade out soon, anyway.

edit: i can donate an old song, too.

This is SO COOL! Great stuff mates. Just got back from work.

Everyone's in if they want to! Maybe we should aim for completion of songs in one week (EDIT) or One month??

Sickle - you could do a dark thing called 'The Storm" or something in your style - So cool!

Perhaps it's best not to have any one theme, but perhaps several: Hope, Fear, Danger, Love, Help/Rescue = Pick one!

I think we can acommodate at least 40 tracks of 3 to 3:50 tracks (double Cd to sell at half the price?)
