If I may suggest something.. the artwork and titles as well as advertising might be more apropriate when images of death and despair are avoided, and when hope and confidence are communicated, instead of fear and helplessness.
To compare it to 9/11, it wouldn't be advisable to put 2 burning and collapsing towers on the album for artwork and then call the titles 'jumping to death' 'completely smashed' or anything along these lines.
I hope I'm able to get the point across that I'm trying to make.

Well here's an ambient piece, it's about as dark as I get. You may not want to use it, and I won't be the least little bit surprised. But if you want a 320kb image let me know.
Chaos Drifting Abstract Ambient 128kb 6.6MB
And good luck mateys.

Ok, here's an updated list of what we have and what we need at this point:
Tracks=Duh!
Mastering=TOTC
Server space=Koolkeys
European Marketing Team-EMT
(need at least one person in Britain)=?
Graphics design=Phz
Duplication and Printing=? (will work on this early next week. Anyone have any ideas here?)
Distro=? (this one will be tough with different world markets, any suggestions appreciated)

When we get the track list full, and we decide how we are encoding(or not) the files, I will send everybody with a song the ftp link. If you don't know how to use FTP, please let me know. I can suggest the program you need and step by step through it. Then everyone can upload their file. If we choose to do wav files(which is fine), then anyone without a high speed connection can send their piece on CD to me, and I'll upload it.
After that, I can get any songs to totc that he needs or doesn't have already directly from the musicians, and he can re-upload them when he's done.
Any suggestions about this? This has just been an idea of how to coordinate this thing.

Freeztar, I'm not mastering, ToTc is. The project is in good hands with him. I'm submitting a track, though.

I'll have to get it and upload it to the server.
Has anyone decided on a standard compression/non-compression format for songs? Some may be different, but that should be fine. Most people can't tell anyways.

Well said mate. I agree, but I do think the Hurricane image is appropo. It is the beast that we must recognize and the reason for our effort (IMHO).xRAVENx wrote:If I may suggest something.. the artwork and titles as well as advertising might be more apropriate when images of death and despair are avoided, and when hope and confidence are communicated, instead of fear and helplessness.

Hi
You are welcome to my track in this months Competition called "Time Returns All Legends To Glory".
I wrote this piece with both Bob Moog and New Orleans in mind so am happy to go in either/both places. I didn't ever plan that it would go on one of my albums so if it helps here even better.
