I'd love to participate with a track here. I can also offer to promote the CD on my website which has thousands of visitors per day (not music related, but a lot of music interested people).

Well I would like to add a track

but I´m off from home till thursday

will that be in time still?

here is a little basic tune I´m working on.
this one I would finish for the CD.

It is ambiental stylee.

And may I suggest to use .ape (Monkeyaudio) or FLAC for the compression/upload of the songs.
These both are much better than mp3 and I find it is important to have the best soundquality that is possible.

Great beginnings! Thursday is quite alright as this thing has just grown wings.

Ideally, I see the tracks being wrapped up within 2 weeks. A week for mastering, and then the push. These are not stringent guidlines though.

I'd also love to be a part of this project and had recorded a song a couple of years ago which I think completely suits the mood and theme of this album. The track is called "Angels (It's Their Last Show)".

I agree with Rav that a picture of the hurricane on the cover is not a good idea. IMHO... The project should be about the rebuilding of the effected areas and not about looking to the past. It should be about humans overcoming their fragility, coming together for one cause and rebuilding. sticking a picture of the hurricane on the cover is just showing destruction and is not about rebuilding.

Yeah maybe you're right Gloop. Gruff, insensitve me...

It's a tough one though. Sorry, but art is not my bag (I bought a painting once for $400.00 and my girlfriend threw it in the trash saying it reminded her of a mouldy vegemite sandwich smothered in bird droppings...)
