You go sister!
Raise your fist in resist!
I gotta take it somewhat personally because you posted right after I said,"From now on, never take vst's for granted." Which I posted after I said, "God luv 'em for releasing this for free...but they should have made it easier. I finally got mine up and running but there are others who are probably more frustrated than I was." I knew I would get heat for that simple statement.
Yeah, it sucks when people bitch about free software. And it sucks when people get all uppity and pretentious to bitch about people bitching about free software and THEN KISS THE DEVELOPER'S ASS!!. From now on, no bitching about free stuff, no bitching about bitching, no opinions any more from anyone!! Let's all keep our opinions to ourselves so maybe the whole evolution of computer music may come to a standstill and we can all just pay $500 for reactor.
Naw..f**k it. Let's just burn our computers and get Nord Leads and Tritons and MPC's.

O.k...sorry everyone...I have tried about 5 times to get this file uploaded to yousendit...with no positive
results. Yousendit states you can send a file up to one gig in size, but it keeps timing out..I am tired
of trying and I will try one more time when I go to bed tonight..if it times out again...I will not try again...sorry again, I tried.

Works like a charm, thanks for the tip.ouroboros wrote: I downloaded UltraISO (free) from download.com
installed it.
Ran it
1.In the bottom pane, I selected the iso file. I then went to tools-->convert.
Selected convert to .nrg (nero file)
it makes a converted copy.
delete the original uncompressed iso file (make sure you keep the orig. zip though!)
Now you have an .nrg file which is similar to an .iso file.
2.again, go to tools-->convert. Now convert the .nrg file back to an iso file. The program converts it to a legit .iso file it or any burner can read.
3.Then go to tools-->burn cd image.
Select then *NEW* iso file and it should burn it to your cd!
worked for me, free, and once I figured it out, it only took 5min. I am now installing the prog as I type. Hope that helps.

Everytime I go to downlaod them Internet Explorer automatically quits.

Not intentional and not the reason for my post.MadPsyance wrote:I gotta take it somewhat personally because you posted right after I said,"From now on, never take vst's for granted." Which I posted after I said, "God luv 'em for releasing this for free...but they should have made it easier.
Uppity & pretentious ? Nah, not me. And how is saying thanks being ass kissing ? If we all said thanks where it was due a bit more, we all wouldn't get so pissy !MadPsyance wrote:Yeah, it sucks when people bitch about free software. you do realize that even if you have "broadband", your typical residential high speed ISP allows you to upload at like 40 KB/second max. the ReBirth image file is like 500 MB, which is 512000 KB, so assuming you get the really really good 40 KB/second upstream constantly, you're still looking at an upload time of 3.5 hours. given the assumptions stated above, it's more likely that your upload figure will be something like 4 or 5 hours. so that might be part of the problem.system20 wrote:O.k...sorry everyone...I have tried about 5 times to get this file uploaded to yousendit...with no positive

this is why the modern p2p networks like ed2k and BT work the way they do, folks...

oh wait, that isn't easy enough for the people on here, so let me follow up with This Link To BitComet, my BT client of choice. download & install BitComet and then download and double-click the torrent from my last post. let it run until it finishes downloading and then you'll have the file. if you want to help others, after it's done downloading, let it upload for a day or 2.

Even if I allready downloaded it from the Props site, I gave it a try (out of interest). Got me around 170kbps, which is just as fast as I can get on my connection.SleepyP wrote: Here is the .torrent file. you're welcome...

CDBXP didn't work with the original iso file, that's why we had to take the extra steps, which wasn't much of a hassle at all.snooky wrote:to much hassle, just burn the image directly with CDBXPriley4reason wrote:ouroboros you are a genius!! Thanks! Riley
