I Took the Plunge...(good deal)

and ordered Tracktion 2...i tried to get along with Cubase LE that came bundled with my EmulatorX sound card/softsampler package... i couldn't get it to work well with my setup properly and am not thrilled with it in general, seems too complicated to do simple things and i just don't like the way it looks...kinda like a toy, plus the included VSTi's sound like crap imho...

T2, on the other hand, the demo was easy to use, seems like it does everything i need it to do, and was able to use it with my system without looking at the manual...and everyone raves about the included VST FX and VSTi's...

but the kicker: i ordered it through Musician's Friend, they have a deal that includes the Sonic Maximizer VST (they sell it for US$99.00, i wanted a hardware SM for a long time) and free shipping for US$149.00, same price as everybody else i've seen...not sure how long the deal goes on, jump on it while you can if you're interested...
