dblueGlitch
What Is It?
Glitch is a highly-adjustable, semi-automated, realtime audio manipulation system which attempts to emulate some of the sounds often found in the IDM genre. At its heart is a sequencer which cuts and arranges the incoming audio into user-defined patterns, applying a random selection of dsp effects in the process, allowing you to alter your music in a variety of different ways ranging from quite subtle to extremely bizarre.
Looks & sounds very interesting...

Playing now... very cool :). Checking the manual - I guess you can't play more than one effect at a time (i.e. SHUFFLE + FLANGER + ... ), unless you send your audio signal through multiple instances, correct?

Eventually (long time from now I'm sure) I want to create a much more modular version of Glitch with the ability to pick and choose exactly which effects you want, design multiple variations of the same one (like 3 different types of retrigger or something), how many of them that are stacked together in each module, etc, etc.

Until then, in the current version you have the 'Global Effect' toggle (the [G] button next to the on each effect) which, when enabled, applies that effect on top of all the others. So it's possible to combine 2 effects at once in a roundabout kind of way. Beyond that multiple instances will do the trick.

Hope you guys enjoy the plugin. :)

Alright, I'm hooked, what a great plug. When can I buy it? I must have this thing.

Integrates beautifully with Renoise. As, I'm sure you know. I can hardly wait to finish typing this and get back to tracking.

Works quite well in Bidule too, no problems so far.

AudioMulch , however, doesn't show Glitch's full parameter names, so it's a little confusing to automate.
Aswell, adjustments made via the (AudioMulch) Metasurface don't show on the Glitch gui, though I can hear the changes happening, ... but, well, atleast I can hear it working.
Haven't noticed any other problems in AudioMulch yet.

Just a very inspiring plug, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, I'll be purchasing this for sure. (As SOON as you let ME!) :)

Hmm.. could you possibly tell me how much AudioMulch seems to cut off the parameter names? I was actually going to trim them down a bit and replace the full effect names with their shorthand equivalent which appears in the sequencer. So Retrigger would become RETR, Modulator would be MOD, etc.

As for the GUI knobs updating. Does it update if you only have 1 parameter automated? I know there's kind of an issue if you've got 2 or more automated, I'm still working on that area of the code. I'm trying to find a good balance for how often the GUI is updated, so that it doesn't suck up too much cpu time which could be used for the audio.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad people are enjoying it so far.

Ah.. just downloaded the demo/beta of AudioMulch and checking it out now. I see the problem with the parameter names, that's pretty confusing, haha.

Checked out the automation thing too and it's exactly what I expected it would be.

I'll try and get both of these issues sorted out for the next update of the plugin.
