A little analysis...
Anti-aliasing is for "synthmonk%ys".

Salvation Army gets my vote.

I ended up with the Salvation Army. As someone pointed out: at least they try to play music, too!

Salvation army reminds me of a middle aged woman, dressed in uniform, that used to go round all the pubs in swansea full of student drinkers on fridays and saturday nights.. and try and sell us copies of war cry.

I voted for red cross...;)

Red Cross gets my vote. They're in the helping people business.

Salvation Army definitely.

Red Cross has serious problems with getting the money to the people it's intended for.

We donated big to them for the 911 fund and it pracitcally took an act of Congress for the actual victims to get a dime. Never again.

Without a doubt, Red Cross. I won't donate a penny to a militant fundamentalist church, which is what the Salvation Army is. They've reformed a bit from their most bigoted days, but not nearly enough to suit me.

Every organization is helping the immediate situation but the Salvation Army seems to provide a better long term benefit to the people in need.

Again: this is not someone I want to give money to.
There are other alternatives. Sorry to hear the Red Cross has disappointed you, Glooper, but they still have my confidence.

I have been looking into trying to offer my hands to help as I've worked in construction. In a search for how and what Habitat for Humanity came across and this would have been the organization I would likely had offered my skills. Unfortunately I realize I am unable to get there and at the same time be able to maintain my home-finances.

But it seems a good organization so perhaps it could be added to the list here.

Hovmod: We are of one mind, friend.

I don't approve of the money going to musicians only. New Orleans is a profoundly musical city, one of the greatest in the world. But the vast majority of Katrina victims who need help -- and will continue to need it far into the coming years -- aren't musicians.

My personal relief donation and my mate's will both be going to Red Cross. If that's where proceeds from the KVR CD set go too, I'll certainly buy it and add that little bit more.
