Ok so I loaded up a combi in Philharmonik...pressed record and played... and this is what came...nothing spectacular not even something good but I like it...It reminds me of the Terminator.
Effects...a little BBE sonic maxi and the built in csr reverb.

Hi,
sounds very lifeless to me - probably to a big part due to the "cut off" way sounds are played. I think you should try giving at least the strings more of a legato feel, use more backing sounds, possibly a more pronounced reverb or delay to "weave" the sounds together. Related to this it also seems very static - again, you could try using effects and/or backing sounds to add movement to the sounds and atmosphere to the tracks.
So far my 2 shiny coins...

Hi Scant,
This is much better! Only thing I still don't dig too much are the strings - to me those should either sound more "real" or more airy. Especially the piano sounds very nice though!
