Initially I never thought of adding a tune for this CD, but the musician got the better of me. Still though, it is rather lengthy (7.58 mins) and very noisy, plus I am awaiting a return mail from a NY label as I used loops from a 12" vinyl.

Still the track very much expresses my feelings towards all that happened in the past two weeks (and into the future and rebuild of NO). I wouldn't mind if this not be included, as there allready is an abundance of tracks offered.

i have ready a data cd with my 16bit project(it was recorded in 16bit, sorry). i hope that this is ok. i sent you a pm, in order for you to tell me your address, so i can send you my wav cd right away.

can't preorder since it won't let me log into paypal via that site. Also ssl errors keep popping up 'do you want to display the non secure items' on every page in the payment process. My email addy isn't being accepted because it complains that I have a paypal account associated with it, and that I should log in instead - which doesn't work.

Nothing wrong on this end...this must be a paypal issue. All we do is forward you to the paypal site when you click on the preorder button...

I dont think that will help as both site will have different certificates...

i.e. you'll get the same warnings.

Okay. I think the problem will only occur for people who have their browser set on a high security level. I did not notice any issues on my PC nor on my Mac.

Anyway, we now have 13 preorders.

Thanks for fixing for the updated hosting. I knew it was a long list (i know little about hosting as i got an irc friend to host it for me) and i plan on uploading the wavs sometime today to the ftp. I took some time last night to listen to the songs-- and i must say this is going to be a real treat for eclectic music fans.

I am going to also be spreading the word via the ground, and through as many internet places i can.
as far as the charities are concerned, I picked salvation army because to my knowledge they dont hold out money, like the red cross often does, but hey--whatever is picked is whatever im cool with. I didnt organize this project, i just felt overwhelmingly compelled to be a part

Thank you for pointing that out - I was going to point out that they are a homophobic organization, and as a gay musician I find that reprehensible in this day and age. Historically, the 'Arts' comprises a great many gay/lesbian artists; it would be misguided to support an organization, monitarily, which feels compelled to broadcast it's displeasure with our lifestyle.
