Having a little bit of difficulty with the Combis. Finally got around to having a play with them and found that a large proportion don't seem to be able to find their patches.

I sort of have the installation of Miro scattered around my harddrive with the actual samples being in one area, the dll in a VST Instruments folder and the Presets and manual etc. living under Program Files somewhere.

If no patches were being found I'd just say it's my weird placement of these components. However, quite a few of the Combis load perfectly - so I'm not sure I understand why some work and some do not.

I don't believe I changed the internal structure of the sample files so I'm a bit

Anyone find any inconsistencies here?

I haven't tested all combis, but none of them so far has this problem.

Have you checked the size of the sample map, just to make sure you've got everything from the DVD's installed?

(maybe you accidently unchecked some of the libraries?)

Just guessing.

No problem here with the combis either. I also have the samples, vst dll and program filse seperated.

Can you give some names of combis that have a problem, then i could check for you.

Don't have too much time, but I'll throw out one example...

In the Dynamic Layers, 23 Violins DYN can neither find Program 1 nor Program 2.

Can someone tell me which patches these are in their set up and I'll check to see if I have them when I get home tonight.

I had this same problem. I fixed it by going into the prefs settings in Miroslav and telling it to "Relist" the instruments on each startup. It takes a little longer to load but it clears up the missing patches. I believe it's a problem with the way their cache file is being written. It may be getting corrupted somehow.

Make sure you hit "Okay" on the way out of the prefs settings. Cancel seems to cause some systems to hardlock.

The combi Dynamic Layers, 23 Violins DYN has in channel 1 & 2 the patch "23 VLNS Slow EXPD".

Thanks Shark - and bugger it I do seem to be missing the 23 VLNS section altogether.

Didn't notice before.

Looks like I'm going to have to re-install all those sounds again.
