yes, tatapoum is finished. i sent latest version to Soma, who collaborated on it. I wait for his feedback for remaining bugs if any.
I'll have a new site soon, and put tatapoum 3.0 on it, with a beautyful "donate" link for generous people...

Tatapoum 3.0 will be free.
it uses much less cpu than it used to.

the guitar plug use some cpu (almost 45 % on my P4 1,4), but it uses the same cpu for 1 or 6 note polyphony, i think.

so at the end i think it's not that hungry.

guitar needs a big fix, because it can't do highest notes for now. (don't ask me why...).

Bass will be easier, because i just need to retune it, and remove 2 strings; and as it doesn't use high pitch notes, no problem.

tu es français aussi?
oui :)
I really like your plug. I'm a music teacher and I will use tatapoum for my work and for my students.

keep this way! :)

this is only a part of gui.
and of course, some knobs will be changed and placed correctly.

mp3demo

what you hear is the raw sound out of pug, without any effect.

i let the sequence play in SE, and manually went threw the 4 patches during recording.

of course, it's not finished, and i'll probably make some changes, as this is only a modified version of my guitar synth.

of course it's not sample based. not at all.

I started working on the acoustic version.

here is an mp3 example

again, this is just a raw, with synthedit internal step sequencer, and the render is made on the fly, changing patches one by one to give an idea of what you can expect from it.

no eq or any effect were added.

I'll add an adsr to make it possible to "smooth" the attack, because sometimes it pops and clicks too much as it is now.

i tried in eXT and i thought it sounded great, got a nice twangy riff going, then it started fading out every few seconds.it's not in a demo-mode is it?anyway it sounded good to me and i look forward to the accoustic one.thanks, you are making some fine machines. :hail:
