hi Dave
I was trying to construct a drum kit tonight and got stuck at the mapping stage.
It's abit fiddly for me cause I'm operating @ 1600x1200.
When I was mapping one of the samples to C4 I didn't quite get the movements right - this left a little blue horizontal line which won't let me pull the velocity column past it. It's dead high up @ about 120 velocity value.
I can't seem to delete it.
I have tried changing the value directly via the alpha controller (low velocity) but this doesn't work either.
Am I being stoopid ?
cheers

To edit a zone in the keymap editor click on the zone so it turns yellow. The alpha dial options will change to lownote/highnote and lowvel/highvel - use shift held down while moving the alpha dial to make fine adjustments.
If you're still stuck, press OK to come out of the zone edit page and click 2 to delete the zone completely.
Failing that (if you can't click on it at that resolution maybe!), delete the sample that is used for the zone and any zones in any of the 16 keymaps for that sample will be automatically destroyed.
Goes without saying that DS404 is really aimed at the more typical screen resolution of 1024x768. When we make the interfaces too big (like SR202) we get hundreds of complaints, after all.
Cheers

thanks
I've fixed it now.
I like to work @ 1600 x 1200 (it's a bloody revelation after years @ 1024x768 !).
I'll just have to be careful with that mouse (Eugene).
