I like it the way it is- set your parameter ranges and let it do its' thing. I'm going to be using this a lot.

and I already had a lot of feedback before releasing it.
and I insist once again really thank Nick Collins for all the work and genius he has put into BBCut.

for nick hip hip hip...
I've read all the papers that Nick Collins wrote on the subject and I most say I have great respect for mdsp for just wading through them, let alone understanding it to such a level high enough to actually come up with this great plug. :hail:

Yeah, that's why I've put them in my signature to spread the word, if not belatedly. I want to put Jacobs Mouse in there next , but I can't find any fan sites.

i'd like to try this thing if only i knew how to apply it in sonar. when i insert it on a track, like other fx, i get no sound. tried this and that...anyone?

Post

ah, the sonar problem. yes, one of the reasons i ditched sonar.

you have to have the cakewalk vst wrapper 4.4 (i think 4.4). when you scan for plugins, you'll have to find the plug, hit "properties" or whatever, and click "tempo sync" or something. if you don't have that option, you might also have luck configuring it as a vst synth instead. but the answer lies somewhere in the vst wrapper setup.

no problems at all here with Livecut and Sonar - 4 & 5 -
(as long as you do what bernhardtjeff says)

got it. had to enable as time based effect. thx!!

produces lots of nice fills. and lots of crackle/pop like sounds. is that normal? or is this the rice krispies of fx :)

yes, mdsp left the clicks intentional. there's no crossfading on the buffers.

what remover did you use?

Would anyone like to share any interesting parameter settings they have come across using this brilliant plugin?
Or a combination of FX used....?

It goes pretty well with mda Leslie and track volume automation on the beginning of my tune 'Walking in the Ruins'
