I've just done a search of the archives and nothing stuck out, and I'd be surprised if this didn't exist..
A single sync'd modulating delay line which behaves like a hardware delay line, ie. when the sync value is changed, it doesn't zipper and lose the last sync'd buffer, instead it just carries on delaying the signal.

Have I totally missed the obvious choice? Or maybe I haven't explained my self well enough..

Did you try ohmforce ohmboyz?

Post

no, but I just demo'd it and it has potential.

it's actually the delay unit in the korg ms2k/microkorg that I want to use in my virtual environment. the single feedback knob seems to adjust the volume of the feeding-back material in relation to the dry signal as well as the length of the feedback decay, and while the time knob switches comfortably between the sync'd delay times, when I set it to 1 bar then 'fiddle with it for a moment' and set it back to 1 bar, all my fiddling continues to looping within the 1 bar. I like this feature a lot and have yet to find a vst effect which comes near :(

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, retrodelay (free) does this

You can try "Glitch"

Post

I know this is not a dedicated post, but this on is for Klanglabs :
that's weird, i already tried Glitch, but no sound came from it, and it is the same with mr Green : seems to be a nice filter, but it doesn't work on my p4 laptop using Live4...
Is there any known issue ?
Thanks

Retrodelay.

Have you tried the Voxengo Tempo Delay?
Tempo sync, modulation, filter w/ resonance. It's great and it's free!

not sure if Glitch is quite what I@m looking for, but thanks for that and the other suggestions - I'll work my way through them..
