Make me two out of ten. I purchased as soon as it came out. It strikes me as pathetic that some users complain about Blue being too high priced at $200, yet very few have bought HG Fortune's excellent creations for under $35 or so. Rather sad commentary on the state of vstis, I tell ya!aMUSEd wrote:Wow - I'm one of those 10 then? - owner of a rare and wonderful synth creation
There are big differences between the free and paid for versions - so sign up folks.
HG Fortune: ProtoPlasm released! Was: prototype VSTi-free

One use for X-WoF II Pro that I like is setting up X-WOF II Pro and just letting it play and evolve in the background while I read kvraudio.mahtazz wrote: I'm sorry to read that about X-WoF II Pro. This is one of my best things in my computer.

For me, I use it like a super drum-machine and sequencer for jamming with some friends...One use for X-WoF II Pro that I like is setting up X-WOF II Pro and just letting it play and evolve in the background while I read kvraudio.

I had the same problem because my internet PC is connected to my music PC via LAN. I had to copy the zip from internet PC to the music PC. There the unzip key worked.Willabong wrote:Just bought the full version of ProtoPlasm,The Bl***y Zip file is password protected, and the password supplied doesn't work!![]()

Going back to my last posts : I was wrong, protoplasm works in Minihost if I use the keyboard displayed on the screen. So now I'm already sure that it is a problem with my midi ins. I buy it and I give feedback. You play the game, HG ?

well, +1 X-WOF II Pro user, here.mahtazz wrote:I'm sorry to read that about X-WoF II Pro. This is one of my best things in my computer.Fortune wrote:First: I was referring to the full version being updated in terms of MIDI channels.stanlea wrote:Maybe I missed something, and if so I apologize. I am not a leecher and I buy my stuff, including VSTis of course. But I had a problem with my midi ins and HGF said he has done a new version. Maybe I didn't understand well his post. Is the free version patched with the new midi implementation ? If so, I'll download it. I just want to see if it works for me, before to buy it. Did I appear so stupid and dishonest ? I don't want a special free-for-me version and I hope you can change your mind because I have respect for your work.
Second: No, the free version is not going to be updated - this one will remain as is as a small restriction not to 'overuse' it. What You don't know is that I got some complaints this free version is in some ways too generous compared to the full or Pro version. So to me it is quite crucial to find a good balance between the free and the Pro versions. I'm not a rich nor a wealthy man and I've have to make a part income by these VSTi I do. Thus working hard and solely on such a project for over 5 weeks and get nothing ... hmmm ... not really desirable. Of course there is always a risk as proved by X-WoF II Pro which has been registered less than 10 times, which was really disappointing to me as I put a lot effort into it - that made me think the X-WoF II (free) was too generous in terms of what it does. But still I continued to do efficient free versions - but now it seems to be a limit is reached.
If You are not that sure about what I said according the updated Pro then please wait til another user of the Pro will report respectively.
regards
HG Fortune
