Say I wanted to make an awesome arsenal of basic effects (chrorus, reverb, etc.) made up of the best freeware plugs that are available.

What would your suggestions be?

Blockfish compressor is great.
So are the buzzcomp and grancomp plugs.
Ambience and glaceverb also sound very nice to me.

good quality........but get's old because of non-tempo matching.............

- Digital Fish Phones

blockfish is good, endorphin is better. You can just plug it in on any track, anytime and it will provide a peak limiter without color......

hmh, someone should REALLY make an plugin-pack with categorized directories etc .. just like there are codec-packs etc ..

I'm sure this gets asked at least once a week ...
