yes it does, and you're the baby, not xylyx.
Wow! you sure have your baby-defense set up alright.
Does that come with easy customization too?

RapRogue wrote:Numerous users have said why/what they don't like about Sonar, and for a reason.
Yeah; it doesnt suit their taste.

When a lot of people agree on something, it's because
they agree on that something. Something is the
key element here, which is something you should get.

No, it doesnt.
Is this level of sulkiness common with Sonar users?
Then no wonder about the interface. Too bad that the frontend (GUI) is not up to par with the engine.

Wow. Is that gibberish supposed to come across as informed?
We entered the Sunar users unite= S-Unit. Can we say...s..s...s..sooooonar!

Here you've got something to calm you down with.

Now don't hurt yourself there killer. The plastic
should be right up your alley. Seriously 'man'
that attack was the epitome of lame.

Wow! How do I reply to an intelligent response like this one? How can I miss a point when all you seem to have to offer are opinions? Anyone who has to resort to insults in order to make their 'point' is usually lacking any kind of cogent argument in the first place. Seriously, if you can't respond in a decent, sensible manner, then please don't bother at all...
You don't, as you even failed to do so even with your
opening post. So by your own word the insult in
your initial post renders your whole basis of
argumentation absolute.

To answer the question you asked me in a wayward way:
I read it and did not agree with it at all which is
why I posted. Logical enough for you? My bad...you
don't like logic.

You felt the urge to chime in. If you don't like
the response you get, just change your initial tone.
Then I won't have to spank you publicly.

On a different level.
I checked the new screenshot, still do not like it.
Not the track view, not the menus, and not the console
view (checked that one in demo). I made it Black &
White and still the same thing, things are either too
small or too big. Finding things seem hard on the
eyes, which is bad 'til you gotten to know all shortcuts.
Black text on a white canvas, do racist people close their eyes when they read a book?

Good lord. Someone with a f**king inane pseudonym trying to make some sort of crap joke about mine. Now that's a first. Honest.
Does that come with easy customization too?
Does your gibberish come with an off-switch?

When a lot of people agree on something, it's because
they agree on that something.
How astute. Did someone help you with that insight?
Something is the
key element here, which is something you should get.
You want to try a sentence with some actual semantic content next time?
Is this level of sulkiness common with Sonar users?
You're sulking because I disagree with you? How childish.
Then no wonder about the interface. Too bad that the frontend (GUI) is not up to par with the engine.
You still seem to be having trouble with that 'opinion is not fact' thing, dont you.
We entered the Sunar users unite= S-Unit. Can we say...s..s...s..sooooonar!
More gibberish.

Strange, because its you who seem to be proving yourself much an authority on being lame. Feel free to run with scissors, m'kay.

I was gonna post a picture of popcorn, but found this instead. Has that lass got a dick, or is it just RapRogue in her pocket?

My response was written in such a way as to illustrate that my own taste is different to that of yours...the difference being that my views were posted as my opinion, whereas you posted as though what you said was fact. When both myself and whyterabbit disagreed with your statements you chose to respond in a childish manner, falling back on insults rather than trying to have a mature debate on the salient points.

I disagree...I don't find things hard to find, nor do I tend to use shortcuts in order to do what I want. But you do, which is fine...Cakewalk are never going to please everyone and changing the GUI to suit some people will likely result in other users not liking the change. No host is going to please everyone and it is fortunate that there are plenty of other options out there for people to use.

sonar 5..... nice legs shame about the interface.

Trying is your life in a box. I bet you are really honest too, I really do!

whyterabbyt wrote:Does your gibberish come with an off-switch?
Ahhh, it been said before, go and learn yourself some knowledge.

whyterabbyt wrote:How astute. Did someone help you with that insight?
Somebody should get you a tourist sightseeing guide, and point out the obvious to you while at it.
whyterabbyt wrote: You want to try a sentence with some actual semantic content next time?
No need to try, trying is what you do best, I finish.
whyterabbyt wrote:You're sulking because I disagree with you? How childish.
What were you disagreeing with again, because it all got lost in your pile of sulkiness.

whyterabbyt wrote:You still seem to be having trouble with that 'opinion is not fact' thing, dont you.
Nope, but you obviously do.

whyterabbyt wrote:More gibberish.
You like that word a lot, more than Sonar?

Nah, I settle with running you... for fun! Also I know
you like the link I provided, but I don't expect any
'thank you' from the likes of you.

If you look at my post you see that 'I' is in it.
even though a lot of users agree with me. Secondly, I
hit you back with the same line; did you really read
my post? You turned this personal not me.

Indeed, we agree on that, and for the other part we
agree to disagree. However, skinning and added GUI
ability would benefit Sonar the most of all hosts,
keeping current userbase and get new customers etc.
Why? Because the Gui and the former none vst support
are their biggest turnoffs. If you want to be
creative, you could run a poll over various hosts, and
what people dislike about them.

Bottom line If you would not have started with that opener, we would never have gotten to this point.

I haven't tried Sonar, but I had the same problem with the P5v2 demo. In the audio settings I had to change the "Justify" setting to 32-MSB. I'm using ASIO4All with built in sound.

Post

I'm not sure if I should take it as an insult, critique or praise that it's an insult to ask if someone has read what I've written...
 :?

Post

The biggest problem i have with Sonar is that they don't really add too much to there update, no new vst's to make it more appealing to the hip hop crowd, and it seem that they change version so fast where the other just improve upon the updates(Cubase& Logic)
