Hi,
Just installed the ACID Pro V5 demo. My s'tank 2XL VST gets recognised as "Sampletank2 1" I have no idea where the "1" comes from but it means that I cant load any Acid Pro 4 files I have because they are are all looking for a VST called "Sampletank2". Any advice ?
In all my other apps the VST is simply recognised as Sampletank2.
Has anybody come across this problem?
Thanks
Paul

It sounds like Acid might be finding multiple instances of the SampleTank 2 plugin
If you've updated to the most recent version of ST2, the installer might have made a backup of the old files in a folder called "SampleTank 2\BACKUP" in your VST plugins folder. There might be an older version of the plugin there, also called "SampleTank2.dll".
If that's the case, you should be able to simply rename that file to "SampleTank2.dll(backup)" to stop Acid finding the old one and getting confused.
Hope that helps.
