Wow. 40% of us use Sonar (me included). I sure wouldn't have guess that was the case from all the BITCHING in the "Sonar 5 is here" thread this last week. I read "bloted" and "bad GUI" more times that I could count.

Personally I can't WAIT for my Sonar5 PE upgrade to arrive!

It would be interesting to know what the breakdown on the "OTHER" 20% is? My guess is most if this is Tracktion2..

Other - ableton live.
i'm suprised tracktion & ableton aren't included as options in their own right, rather than being subsumed within the 'other' option.

Ah, a totally different subject!! With almost as many answers as there are DAW users... Or maybe even more, since I use different approaches depending on the project.

I use my DAW

but it consists of more then one app...

btw there is no "main" program that I use each has it's use and each is an equal part of my DAW.

cubase - the best SEQUENCER!!!! sonar isnt bad, but rendering is "realtime" and my PIII 550 MHz compaq gives his soul to the devil
