Hi dbluedblue wrote: Could you run Kondor in ACID for me and see if the 'ppqPos' value (shown in Kondor's GUI) changes as ACID plays? It should basically match the position of the track in ACID. It's this value which Glitch mainly relies on for its timing info. If ACID doesn't support this for some reason, then Glitch won't work. If ACID does seem to support it, then obviously it's something I'll have to do a bit more research into
Cheers.
Indeed he does, ehrr, *I do*!loomchild wrote:HE should thank you.
Ok, I finally checked out the ACID demo a few minutes ago and I've spotted the problem, though I'm not exactly sure what to do about it just yet. ACID does indeed report the PPQN info, but I noticed that it doesn't report any transport changes, ie. when you start/stop the actual song. I find that a little strange to be honest because I kind of assumed that it would be one of the most basic things a host should do. Basically, without that little flag saying to Glitch "hey, the track is playing now, you can do your stuff", it's just sitting there idle.Zero dB wrote:If you or anyone could download the ACID demo and take I look, I'd really appreciate it.
I initially forgot to mention it in the documentation (it's in there now), but you can actually right-click on those buttons to increase/decrease the length by 4 steps at a time. Still not perfect but it definitely helps.Ronny Pries wrote:(i.e. for step sequencer length from 64 to 16 = 48 clicks) is a bit painful.
