You can allways build post fader inserts yourself when routing things to a group channel. Those obviously will be behind the fader of anything you're routing into it.
And while I agree that post fader inserts are a good thing to have, I won't use them too often I think. Steinberg should just concentrate on streamlining things.

However, xRAVENx, I was allready wondering: When using a send and setting it to pre-fader (just the normal thing in, say, a live monitoring setup), where would the post fader inserts kick in? I may just try by myself later on, but can't right now...

Sascha:

preF Inserts -> EQ -> preF Aux sends -> Fader -> postF inserts -> postF Aux sends -> channel routing

Ok. Interesting. Wonder what one would use post fader inserts for then...

my bad, sorry - the postF Aux sends are after the postF inserts (just re-checked)

K, that's making more of a sense.

Use EnergyXT within Cubase. Then you can repatch your efx to your hearts delight, do parallel processing, midi fun etc.

But Steinberg should fix this and the group channel thing as well. Soon!
