Eric,

My hat goes off to you. Had I got broadband I would be taking this home immediately. Excellent stuff.

Incidentally, I bet this libary is worth every penny!

Post

Purchased and downloading right now. And by the way, after buying it you get the download link instantly. Very cool!

I think it's great that 100% of the money from this Spectrasonics library is going to the Hurricane relief effort.

It's the least we can do. So much wonderful music came from New Orleans...

Purchased!! Excellent initiative by the way, I just think it is a bit sad that it took something like this for me to get off my butt and donate money for the relief effort.

Seems to be a problem with the server at the moment, I got an aborted download and now I cannot access the site. I am sure it will get sorted soon though, and I will try a bit later.

how many loops and how big in MB? I listened to the demo mp3 and it sounds good :)

Post

It's about 150 megs when uncompressed, 50 loops... and "depressingly good" playing as well... :o

That's right...about 150mb

Only about 10 of the 50 grooves are shown in the demo song. These guys are some of the greatest drummers on the planet and we are so proud to be associated with them.

They've all donated their royalties to the project too...Cool guys indeed! :-)

You know...that's exactly why we did it! :-)

Musicians sometimes don't contribute even to a worthy cause, because they view themselves as the poor....which is often the case! :D 8)

So we thought this might be a good way to kick start the giving process...oil the gears a bit...y'know? 8)

Appreciate you guys getting involved.

That's truely a brillant idea. And not only is the idea brillant but the loops are killers.

Were the loops specialy recorded for this initiative?

Erik.
