Ok, I'm thinking of doing a track for this myself. is it too late for that????
what's the deadline for tracks???
guess i should know this by now but....lol.
anyway, here's a demo of my track so far:
Stream/Dwonload:
http://www.totcproductions.com/download ... gsDEMO.mp3
It's meant to be Upbeat...inspirational...house-ish....uplifting. Alot of the stuff i've mastered so far, though it was all amazing, was very sad sounding....so i decided to contribute something on the brighter side. it's got a little ways to go yet, but please comment on the demo. thanx
peace!

Wait a minute . . . does that mean someone else has to master your song?TotcProductions wrote:Ok, I'm thinking of doing a track for this myself...

Should be okay to use, too, permission-wise.

Here is my submission for the KvR Musicians for Katrina Relief CD.
It starts and ends with John Lee Hookers Tupelo Flood which I thought was appropriate.
It's the story of a man trapped on his roof waiting to be rescued.
He has nothing but his harmonica and his faith in the people of America and the world will help him.
And we do.
Mighty Time
I put a lot of work into this one, but it could be mixed better.
If anyone wants to mix it for me I will send you all 8 tracks in individual wav files.
I would appreciate it.
I will put your name in the tag as "mixed by".
If not we can just go with it as it is.
I am happy we are doing this and I am honored to be a part of it.

You cant depend on a lot of things
You need a busload of faith to get by.

Well I for one am impressed as all hell.TotcProductions wrote:Ok guys, here's a quick master of the bourban street song. This is only take 1, so let me know what you all think. i'd really be interested to hear the authors comments / comparisons as well.
remember too, this is in m3 format, so might be a bit lossy, although i did export it at 320 kbps, and you'll definitely be able to tell the difference.

Hello all. Someone mentioned more problems with the FTP. It shouldn't be giving you problems. Everything is working fine here.
I, too am helping with this project, although I won't be able to take on all of what Xander was doing. Freeztar is doing a fantastic job. We really need someone with just a bit of time to step up and at least keep track of the track list to repost every so often. Xander will give you all you need but we need someone to do that, updating it as songs are uploaded. Or maybe some of us can PM Xander and ask that he continue, hoping that the worst is hehind us. This is one of the busiest times I can remember for me, and I can't do what I would like to do.
Anyone want to volunteer? Just one update post a day or every two days would be all that is needed, with updated links and such. Thanks in advance. WE NEED to get this thing going, as many people have already invested in this. Xander, please come back and help again.

Oh, and Benedict, your song is there on my server now, in it's entirety. So no worries, you've done what you need to do!
