UNCLE! ,

Flummoxed again. Anyone have a short tut. on how to rewire Rebirth in FL? I've read the manual to no avail. Just a bit dense these days....

thanks!

I did the big Rebirth download but haven't installed yet so I can't help other than to refer you to this tutorial on the FL site. It's near the top of the list to the left when you enter the forum. Looks pretty involved to me.

Yeah, me too. I can't get into FL Forums right now, because I'm on a new laptop from work w/o my reg info, so the question is still open if anyone has an answer. Otherwise it'll be a couple of days until I get in.

It's needlessly complicated, I think.

You have to install the plugin version and enable the Rewire client from the Start Menu. Then, I used the browser from within FL to send the rewire plugin to the selected channel...then you have select Rebirth from the Rewire Plugin box thingy...then you have to launch Rebirth from the Start Menu because the "Show Panel" button doesn't work with Rebirth!

Then you get a pop up message from Rebirth when you launch it, but its ok to ignore it.

Anyway, its way better described in the manual...I don't know why it's so freaking complicated.

Bottom line, is it worth it? I mean, how does it sound?
