congrats(your not in manc are you?)

i recently started a course in manc and like you altho i have experience in a few other hosts had never seen PT even let alone used it,now after 4 hours only i pretty much know where most things are and can call up what i need to do

the best thing is experience,i personally am waiting till i can afford a mac to get mine but the mbox version is about 300 quid i beleive for pc

Vurt, it could be a good thing that you're waiting to buy the MBox version, since they are just coming out with MBox 2. It adds MIDI and other things. However, it doesn't have the Focusrite pre's that the first MBox has. It has Digidesign pre's instead. I like the Focusrite ones, but don't know what the quality will be.
