For every instance I add of Manystation, the project file in Cubase SX 3.1 grows by 1 Mb. Is it supposed to be like that?

Is it possible to cut down on the amount of data MS saves? The reason I ask, is because I swap Cubase projects with a friend by email, so the projects get quite big when 4-5 instances of MS are used.

I'm sorry, but when you save a MS project, it will save the whole loaded BNK along. There's no other way.
Have you tried using RAR instead, to see if the file gets smaller?

Raring should work
I just tested and rared a 4 meg song file into a tiny 22k file.... no problem at all here.
So definately if you are on a modem this should be much better for you to do.
