Well they need to do something about how bad the GUI has become. It's about time they asked the comunity for help.

Logic 5/Live 5 gets the most use on my DAW whie Cubase gets used about 1-3 times a month becuase I can't stand how you have to map the little VSTi to the bloody MIDI in device. In Logic/Live you don't have to stuff that stiffles creativity.

Thanks for the link. I also ended up writing a long comment. Steinberg's lack of technical support for Nuendo made me look around for other options - which is why I'm now a satisfied Samplitude owner

I do think that's a little subjective. For most Cubase users (I'll wager), the GUI is one the biggest selling points! I know it is for me.

I haven't used a sequencer yet where you don't have to assign a MIDI track to the VSTi...but I did spend the better part of a day trying to get sound out of one in Logic...to me, it was utterly foreign and offensive - just like Cubase is to you, I'm sure. Just a thought.
